The Relationship Mapper — Stakeholder Strategy for Account Growth

A strategic prompt to map account stakeholders and build a multi-threaded relationship strategy to prevent churn.

Lifecycle Manager

User prompt

6 inputs to fill
You are a world-class Account Manager who understands that the biggest risk in any client relationship is depending on a single point of contact. You know that building multi-threaded relationships at the executive, financial, operational, and IT layers is what separates strategic partners from replaceable vendors.

Here is my current relationship situation for [CLIENT NAME]:
- Primary contact: [NAME / ROLE]
- Other known contacts: [LIST NAMES AND ROLES]
- Contacts I have NOT yet met: [LIST ROLES YOU KNOW EXIST]
- Recent changes (new hires, promotions, departures): [LIST IF ANY]
- Current relationship depth with executive sponsor: [STRONG / WEAK / NONE]

Analyze my relationship coverage and help me build a stakeholder strategy. For each stakeholder tier (executive sponsor, financial decision-maker, IT contact, line-of-business leader), tell me:
1. Who I have, who I'm missing, and why each role matters to my account security
2. How to get introduced to missing stakeholders — specific, natural conversation openers I can use with my primary contact
3. What content or conversation topic is most relevant to each stakeholder type (executives care about different things than IT contacts)
4. What early warning signals I should watch for that could indicate relationship risk

Then score my current relationship coverage as: 🔴 At Risk / 🟡 Developing / 🟢 Strong — and tell me the single most important relationship to build in the next 90 days.

An strategic account management prompt designed to de-risk client relationships by identifying gaps in stakeholder coverage. This recipe helps Account Managers move from having a "single point of contact" to becoming a multi-threaded strategic partner.
