Security awareness data is valuable, but it’s hard to translate into an executive-level story during a QBR. The new KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training (SAT) Deliverable Integration in Lifecycle Manager helps MSPs turn training and phishing results into a client-facing report that’s easy to explain and repeat across accounts.

It’s designed with a focus on clear trends and outcomes for QBRs and security posture reviews. Detailed user-level data will be coming soon, but this deliverable stays executive-friendly.

What’s included in the KnowBe4 SAT Report?

The report is built to answer four client questions: Where are we today? Are we improving? Where are we exposed? What should we do next?

Some metrics are snapshot-based, while trend sections can use 30/60/90-day windows for manageable reporting.

The report sections are:

  • Executive Summary: A high-level snapshot of the client’s overall risk score, how it’s trending over time, and (when available) what types of security risk are driving it.
  • Training Performance: A summary of the most recently completed training campaign showing total users, campaign end date, and completion rate with a comparison to the previous campaign.

  • Phishing Overview: A view of phishing susceptibility that highlights the account’s average phish-prone percentage, the latest campaign’s phish-prone result and trend, and the top five highest- and lowest-risk users with key risk and engagement indicators.

  • User Breakdown: A detailed table that lists each user’s risk score, phish-prone percentage, and training completion status so you can quickly identify patterns, prioritize coaching, and plan targeted follow-up.

How to use the KnowBe4 report in your next QBR?

Use the KnowBe4 SAT Deliverable as a simple, executive-ready way to show where human risk stands today, how it’s trending, and what actions will reduce it. It works especially well as supporting evidence for MSP recommendations such as:

  • Refresh or expand SAT training (new-hire onboarding, role-based modules, monthly micro-trainings) when risk scores or phish-prone rates are flat or rising.
  • Set and enforce completion targets (e.g., 95–100% completion) with clearer due dates, reminders, and escalation when campaign completion trends down.
  • Update security policies and controls when user behavior suggests exposure (stronger MFA enforcement, tighter email security, conditional access, reduced risky permissions).

The simplest QBR flow is to start with the client’s business goal (ex., protect customer PII), align on the initiative required to achieve it (ex., train the team to recognize and handle sensitive data correctly), and then use the KnowBe4 SAT Deliverable to support the case with measurable proof (ex., training completion trends).

This goal to initiative to evidence structure keeps the conversation focused on outcomes, makes the recommendation easier to justify, and helps the client make a clear decision to move forward on the next project.

Getting started

Enabling the integration is straightforward. Navigate to the Deliverables tab in Lifecycle Manager, select KnowBe4 SAT, and enter your KnowBe4 API key to connect your account.

For step-by-step guidance and troubleshooting tips, refer to our Integration Help Docs.

Once connected, Lifecycle Manager pulls the relevant KnowBe4 risk, training, and phishing data so you can generate a consistent, client-ready SAT deliverable for every QBR.
