ControlMap Copilot Is Now Available

ControlMap Copilot brings contextual AI assistance into ControlMap to help MSPs move compliance work forward with draft content, recommendations, and guided next steps.

Compliance work is still too manual for a lot of MSPs. Teams are spending time answering security questionnaires, drafting policies, reviewing requirements, and figuring out what needs to happen next across multiple client environments. ControlMap Copilot is built to help with that by bringing contextual AI directly into ControlMap, where the work is already happening.

What ControlMap Copilot is

ControlMap Copilot is embedded inside ControlMap and designed to be contextual to the page a user is on. Rather than acting like a separate tool, it surfaces relevant AI assistance where users are already working, helping move compliance tasks forward without leaving the platform.

ControlMap Copilot is meant to reduce manual effort and support users with draft content, recommendations, and next steps, while keeping human review and approval in place.

What it helps with

At launch, ControlMap Copilot helps with some of the most repetitive parts of compliance work, including:

  • Faster security questionnaire response
  • Policy drafting
  • Requirement-level gap analysis
  • Recommendations

Guided follow-up actions

For MSPs, that means less time spent pushing routine work forward by hand and a more scalable way to deliver compliance across multiple clients.

This matters because external Copilot tools can help draft content, but they still leave teams copying, pasting, reviewing, and updating records by hand. ControlMap Copilot is built to help users complete work inside ControlMap, using the context already available in the client’s environment.

What makes it different

ControlMap Copilot is not a general-purpose chatbot. It is designed specifically for compliance work inside ControlMap, with assistance that changes based on where the user is and what task they are trying to complete. That makes the experience more relevant, more actionable, and more connected to the system of record.

Beta availability

ControlMap Copilot is now available in beta for US-based ControlMap partners. This initial beta rollout is limited to the US, and broader global availability is planned in the near future. Initial access is for MSP partner users on Pro clients, and client users do not have access at launch. Partners who want access can request it through a beta access form.

How ControlMap Copilot uses data

ControlMap Copilot only uses data within the specific client’s ControlMap environment, such as policies, evidence, controls, frameworks, risks, and assessments. Data is not shared across clients.
