Compliance is one of the strongest reasons an MSP earns a seat at the table, and one of the hardest services to show progress on. Until now, getting it into a QBR meant exporting from ControlMap, pasting figures into slides, and redrawing the same charts every quarter.
That changes today. ControlMap and Lifecycle Manager now work together inside your Deliverables. A new Compliance section brings ControlMap data straight into Lifecycle Manager, so compliance health, risk, framework progress, and remediation work are already on the page when you sit down with a client.
It's the latest step in connecting the ScalePad platform, so the work your team does in one product shows up wherever you need it next.
Bring Compliance Into Every QBR
Add a Compliance section to any Deliverable the same way you add Assets or Contacts. It's built into the Deliverable builder, and ControlMap fills it in automatically when the Deliverable is generated, with no exports or copy-paste between products.
The section shows the client's compliance health score, their open risks by severity, how far they've progressed against each framework, and the work still to do. Present it live, share it with a secure link, or export it to PDF.
That means you can run a compliance-led QBR straight from the Deliverable, with no slides to prepare. Compliance sits next to the roadmaps, budgets, and assets already in Lifecycle Manager, all in one place instead of a separate appendix. And because a published Deliverable stays fixed as of the day it was generated, your reports stay consistent until you regenerate them.
Show the Movement, Not Just the Score
A score on its own is a snapshot. A score with a trend is a service. Every headline figure in the Compliance section carries the history behind it, so you can point to a line moving the right way instead of telling clients things have improved.
- Summary: Compliance health score with 30-, 60-, and 90-day movement, risk by severity over time, compliance achieved per framework, and progress on assessments, objectives, evidence, action items, and documents.
- Progress History: A chart you can switch between progress categories to show how work is moving.
- Comparison: Put the current period next to the previous report, or against 30, 60, or 90 days ago, and see exactly what changed across risks, objectives, and action items.
- To Do: Open action items, evidence requests, and documents that still need attention.
With the trend on the page, you can answer the question every client asks: what did we get for the last three months? Framework progress shows up in terms clients understand, not a list of controls. Compliance becomes a recurring, visible service instead of a periodic audit conversation.
Leave Clients With a Compliance Health Report
Export the Deliverable and the PDF includes a full Compliance Health Report: the overall health score and its breakdown, score history with rating bands, the risk profile and top risks, per-framework compliance and its history, progress across each category, and action items by priority and status.
The client keeps a report they can act on. You spend the meeting on what the numbers mean, not on assembling them.
It's a leave-behind that shows progress and the prioritized work still ahead. Your next review starts from an agreed list of remediation work, not a fresh discovery exercise. And you have the evidence of progress you need to make the case for remediation projects and renewals.
Why We Built This
Partners told us they were already building business review reports in Lifecycle Manager, and they wanted their ControlMap progress in the same place. ControlMap already holds the evidence, objectives, policies, and risk register, but none of it reached the QBR without being rebuilt by hand.
This is the ScalePad platform working as one. ControlMap powers the compliance insight, and Lifecycle Manager brings it into the client conversation alongside roadmaps, budgets, and assets. The more your ScalePad products work together, the less time your team spends moving data between them, and the more complete the story you can tell clients.
Next Step
Already using both? Open a Deliverable and add the Compliance section to your next QBR. Using Lifecycle Manager without ControlMap? Your compliance story is now one Deliverable section away. Learn More.
