Debuting in Lifecycle Manager is ScalePad Services Marketplace. ScalePad Services Marketplace provides one-click access to services, including ScalePad Warranty Services for servers and networking devices, and two new services: ScalePad Workstation Assurance, and ScalePad IT Asset Disposal.
Looking to purchase and extend warranty coverage, or decommission an asset at the end of its useful lifecycle? You can now do that in one place, with more to come.
ScalePad plays an important role as a key solutions provider for over 11,000 MSPs globally. In turn, our Partners manage over 500,000 SMBs, 5 million employees, and 20 million assets globally.
Lifecycle Manager empowers our Partners to oversee and take control of their clients’ asset lifecycle management, from the procurement stage to disposing of the asset with ScalePad IT Asset Disposal (ITAD) service. And with over 20 million assets managed across the globe comes all of the e-waste associated with it.
Electronic waste represents 2% of America’s trash in landfills, but it equates to more than two-thirds of overall toxic waste. That’s a bad thing.
We’ve partnered with veritree, a blockchain-verified tree planting platform, to give back and make a positive and certifiable environmental impact, and offset the effects of e-waste, on behalf of our employees, our Partners, and their clients.
In our 2022 Business Growth Report, it was noted that 30% of MSPs say green technology and environmental policy are driving growth. Aside from being good for our planet, adopting environmental programs in a verifiable way could help your business stand out from the competition. It’s also anticipated that green policies will continue to impact the MSP industry in the coming years, so it doesn’t hurt to get started early.
“We’re big on sustainability… having a recycling program, having an e-waste program, we’ve gone through that process.”
- Luis Alvarez CEO, Alvarez Technology Group
ScalePad IT Asset Disposal (ITAD) is a new service found within Lifecycle Manager that enables your MSP to easily dispose of outdated, retired, or unwanted workstations in a secure and environmentally-conscious manner.
ITAD takes the once difficult and unstandardized process of workstation disposal (hello recycling runs and storage closets) and creates a scalable, standardized, and cost-effective process all in-app.
Whether you’ve identified EOL assets through Insights, or have planned to retire a workstation via an Initiative or Roadmap, disposing of an asset at the end of its lifecycle is easy. Here’s how:

We’re enhancing our workstation warranty service to better serve MSPs and their clients with ScalePad Workstation Assurance.
From procurement to service, ScalePad Workstation Assurance helps MSPs provide full replacement warranty coverage for client workstations — even for accidental damage — in one easy Lifecycle Manager in-app workflow.
You read that right: Accidental damage is now covered on all ScalePad workstation warranties.
Full replacement warranty coverage helps clients rebound from hardware failure sooner, suffer less frustration, and experience no unexpected expenses when a failure occurs.
ScalePad Workstation Assurance is available in the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom.
This update debuts the beta of Lifecycle Manager’s new dashboard experience.
We’re making your initial view of Lifecycle Manager even more useful with faster and immediate access to critical client, business, and asset lifecycle management data for your MSP.
We’ve improved the functionality of the Insights, Hardware, and Software views found within your Client dashboards to provide additional filtering options and increase the amount of information accessible to your MSP.
New filtering opens the door for more customization and the ability to drill deeper into the data in Lifecycle Manager and see exactly what you want to see, and nothing you don’t. Here’s an example:
When planning a client’s upgrade path to Windows 11, use filters such as asset age, current OS, memory, and storage to generate a list of potential assets meeting the upgrade requirements. You can also add or remove any filters or columns you don’t need to clean up your view.
Additionally, you can now select an asset or multiple assets and quickly create an Initiative by clicking Add to Initiatives at the bottom of your screen.
We’ve also added the following updates to integrations with Lifecycle Manager:
Backup Radar’s dashboards are an essential tool to help monitor and address critical issues to maintain a healthy, secure environment for your clients.
We’ve added the ability to share these dashboards directly with clients and co-managed accounts with the new Share feature. The Share feature generates a URL specifically for access to your chosen dashboard. Use them to communicate risk with your clients, or share insights with your internal teams.
We’ve also added support for Amazon Web Services (AWS) into Backup Radar:
Partners can now integrate AWS instances to Backup Radar to monitor configured backups. Fourteen AWS services are now API supported with Backup Radar. Reduce your ticket noise and get “no result” status on configured instances of:
We’ve enhanced the user experience with some improvements in the set up and maintenance of your Backup Radar workflows.
With upgrades like a new in-app windows manager, “Estimated Latest Delivery” status on notifications and reports, revamped Company filter on Template Rules, and the addition of a “Current State of Ticket Creation” status, moving through and visualizing data in Backup Radar is now easier.
